Three countries in one weekend!

Discover the stunning views of France, the gorgeous Spanish nature or one of the smallest countries in Europe: Andorra! Get in your motorhome and travel across all these locations in just one weekend, to discover the authentic villages and outstanding landscapes!

We start our trip in the oldest spa of France, and park our motorhome at Avenue de l'Áriege. After a long drive, you can wind down in the several thermal baths that you can find here! Would you, after sitting down for such a long time, rather do something sporty? Then strap on your hiking boots and make an extensive hike through Ax-Les-Thermes. This village has several nice shops which you could visit, but also some nice cafés where you could have a drink.

But there is also a lot to see and do in the surrounding area. Discover the Plateau de Beille, a mountain where you can enjoy otherwordly views over the Pyrenees. This is an absolute recommendation for all the hiking and biking enthusiasts, don't forget to take some beautiful pictures! Does your interest lie with history? Then, pay a visit to Castle Montségur, a castle that was built in order of Guy de Lévis II, the lord of Mirepoix. The hike up to the castle is tough, but definitely worth it. From the top of the hill you'll have another gorgeous view over the Pyrenees!

We get back in our motorhome and continue our trip towards Porté-Puymorens Camping Car-Park. From this motorhome stopover, you can easily visit the picturesque centre of Andorra, Barri Antic. Here, you'll find cosy streets and authentic architecture. This small country has a lot to offer. That it is called a tax haven will not escape you either, you will find plenty of eye-catching shops in its streets!

There's even more to do in Andorra La Vella! Walk through the streets of the historical centre and take a look at the old parliament building, Casa de la Vall. Here, you'll find various historical artworks and important documents that give you a good image of the history of the country. Besides culture and history, Andorra also has a stunning landscape, with beautiful mountains and lakes. Take a walk to Mirador del Roc del Quer, and enjoy the stunning view that you'll get from a platform that rises 12 metres out of the mountain. A part of the platform is made from glass, so that you can see into the depths as well as the distance.

Time to continue the trip! Park your motorhome at Riu de Cerdanya and explore the medieval village Bagà and its gorgeous surrounding nature. In the Cadi-Moixero park, you'll see several different landscapes: forests, valleys, rough mountains and meadows. This is the ideal place to enjoy the pure beauty of nature, authentic mountain villages and amazing hikes. For mountaineers, this is the perfect place to get their fill! You could also just enjoy the peace and quiet here, and just soak up all those vacation vibes. Don't forget to explore the central square and the age-old church of Bagà, to indulge yourself into a little bit of history as well.
