Motorhome routes through Austria
In Austria, there are plenty of possibilities for a road trip with a motorhome. Think of the Romantikstraße where you travel from Salzburg to Vienna. With its many castles and romantic landscapes, this motorhome route certainly lives up to its name! This motorhome route is recommended in all seasons, because every season there are different folk festivals. Think for example of the harvest festivals in autumn and the Christmas markets in winter. The Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse is also highly recommended for a motorhome tour of Austria, with the Grossglockner view as the highlight. In 47.8 kilometres it takes you past the most beautiful viewpoints in the country. The route is easy to drive with a motorhome, but keep in mind that there are many hairpin bends in the motorhome route!
