When you walk into the historic heart of the city, you can already see the colorful market stalls. Every Tuesday through Sunday the flower market is held here. This is one of the most colorful markets in France. You probably think that only flowers are sold here, but this is certainly not the case. Flowers are plentiful, but there is much more to be found at this market. Fruits, spices, meat, fish and all kinds of delicious local products. You can find them all at this market! Ben je gek op rommelmarkten? Dan moet je in september in Lille zijn! In deze stad grote stad, vlakbij de Belgische grens vind je een van de grootste rommelmarkten van Europa. Dat deze rommelmarkt geliefd is bij vele toeristen en omwonende is terug te zien in het aantal bezoekers. Jaarlijks komen er namelijk 2 tot 3 miljoen bezoekers naar deze grote markt in Lille. De braderie vindt ieder jaar plaats in het eerste weekend van september. Op deze markt vind je meer dan 10.000 kraampjes met servies, antieke boeken, sieraden en nog veel meer. De kans is groot dat er iets leuks aan je handen blijft plakken. De rommelmarkt begint op een wel heel bijzondere wijze, namelijk met een halve marathon. Na deze marathon op zaterdag begint de markt en deze eindigt pas op zondag om 23:00 uur. Het evenement gaat dus aan een stuk door. De hele stad staat op deze dagen in het teken van deze feestelijke traditie. Vergeet ook zeker niet de het traditionele marktgerecht van deze braderie te proeven, mosselen met frietjes.

Dinard! Once upon a time, this was a small fishing village in Brittany. Today it is a chic seaside resort with numerous villas. During a walk along the beach you can admire these beautiful villas. Three days a week you will find many market stalls on the Place des Halles, the market square of Dinard! For the next market you don't have to drive far with the motorhome. In Brittany, there is another special market that you should not miss during your motorhome trip. This time in the town of Questembert. Right in the center of this historic town you will find the market halls. These market halls originate from the 16th century. Later, in 1997, these market halls were completely restored. This was good news for market lovers. From this date there is a lot to do and experience in the market halls. Every Monday there is a large regional market. In the market halls you will find mainly stalls with delicious regional products and around the market you will find the best non-food products. In high season you will be picked up from the park with a horse and carriage and taken to the market. Also on Wednesday evening there is a market with local products. This is smaller, but certainly not less fun. You can immediately taste the products bought at long tables.
