We start our journey of discovery along the coast of Le Marche in Pesaro. This is the northernmost city on the 170-kilometer long coastline. One of these remains are the intact city walls. These city walls are no less than 600 meters long! After Rome, these are the longest city walls in the world! When you walk through the gate of these old city walls, you come to the old city center. Here you will find narrow alleys, colorful houses and a cozy town square. Walk through these nice alleys and wander around in the center. In this way you will discover the best sights, stores and terraces.

From beautiful squares, Gothic churches to town houses. You'll be amazed by this city. Highlights you should not miss are the Piazza del Popolo, the San Francesco Church and the Palazzo dei Capitani. Of course you can also choose to enjoy one of the many terraces. Taste the Italian cuisine and don't forget to try the Olive Ascolane. This fried olive is the specialty of Ascoli Peceno!
