Come to Drunen and experience Charles Dickens' christmas-world! Drunen transforms into a 19th-century village on the 17th and 18th of December. During this event, the centre of Drunen will be one big stage with many surprising acts. Meet characters such as Scrooge, Oliver Twist or David Copperfield! The centre will be nicely lit, of course, and there are lots of opportunities to have a bite or drink something! Winterdroom, Luttelgeest 

For the whole month of December, you can enjoy a true winter spectacle at the Orchideeën Hoeve! Get lost in this enchanting world, full of twinkling lights and breathtaking flora and fauna. There are lots of things to do here, for example, you could follow a workshop on flower arranging or you could listen to live music. For everyone that still has to do their christmas shopping: do not fret! Gentse Winterfeesten, Gent

From the 8th till the 31st of December the busiest christmas market of Belgium will take place again! Numerous stands, an indoor skibar and a gigantic rollerskating-piste make the Gentse Winterfeesten an event not to miss. There's enough to experience for the little ones, as well. There is enough animation at the event, and the christmas tree-carousel is a true show-stopper! Ready to be immersed in an enchanting winterwonderland? Winterpret Brussel, Brussels

From 25 November to 1 January, Winterpret animates the heart of Brussels. The entire centre is a Christmas lover's paradise during this period. Christmas markets in Cologne

Cologne has no less than eight different Christmas markets on different squares, including the beautiful Weihnachtsmarkt am Kölner Dom! The Christmas market is actually home to a mega-high pyramid in typical style from the Ore Mountains. Christmas food fans also get their money's worth in Dresden. At the annual ''Stollenfest'', the largest Christmas stollen in the world is cut, weighing around 3,000 kilos. So you can imagine that cutting it is a real spectacle!
